Sonny and Margaret were both born and grew up on farms in Floyd County, Virginia. They met in high school and married while still in their teens. They have three grown children and seven grand children.
They were both saved while children and have grown up and stayed in the church all their lives, serving the Lord and serving other people.
They have been in the textile industry since they were teens, owning their own factory and outlet stores for many years in the Raleigh, NC area. Due to Margaret’s ill health, they moved back to Virginia and began their own business as technical engineers and parts suppliers for the industry.
In 1994, the Holy Spirit began to make some dramatic changes in their lives, both spiritually and physically. Margaret had been sick for many years with environmental illness and was diligently seeking her healing. They were also learning about and beginning to experience the Gifts of the Spirit. By the fall of 1994, Margaret had received a miraculous healing and God placed the desire to see others healed in their hearts .
They knew God was calling them to do something different and special with their lives. They became a part of the volunteer team serving in the monthly Benny Hinn Crusades. As they agreed with others in prayer, the Holy Spirit moved and taught them how to flow with Him to bring healing and deliverance. In 1995, they were ordained to the ministry and started Liberty Christian Ministries. The purpose of which was to fulfill the commission to set the captives free, heal the broken hearted and heal the sick.
In 1998 they came into contact with Proclaiming His Word Ministries and
the Integrated Approach to Healing Ministry of Restoring The Foundations. The Quesinberrys were already familiar with all of the four areas and decided that the integrated method of
ministry would be helpful to people in keeping the healing they received.
They are now a part of the Healing House Network as trained ministers and seminar leaders.
For some time God had placed it in their hearts to provide a “safe place” for ministers and church leaders to come and receive ministry and healing. After three years of prayer and hard work, the vision became a reality by the establishment of Liberty House
Counseling and Healing Retreat Center.
Liberty House is located in Floyd, VA on a seventy-five acre active farm. The house is used for the
RTF ministry and the living quarters of those receiving ministry. The peaceful surroundings are a large part of the healing process as they walk the fields and surrounding woods, or watch the cows graze and raise their calves. The presence and wonder of God is evident all around the property.
