Training Steps for Restoring the Foundations Ministry

A major portion of the ministry effort of the Affiliated Teams of the Healing House Network is directed toward the training of Restoring the Foundations ministry (RTFM) teams to minister in and to the Body of Christ.  This is a direct application of Eph 4:11-13, where Saint Paul describes that Christ gave the five fold ministers to the Church for the raising up of the saints for the work of the ministry: Ephesians 4:11-13 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

We have a desire to help the perfecting (raising up, equipping, completing) of the saints for the work of the ministry of RTFM, which God is using in an amazing way to help the edifying (building, supporting, completing) of the Body of Christ. If you have a heart, a call, a vision similar to ours, to be a minister to the Body of Christ, the steps given below will equip you in a relatively short period of time (as compared to a two year or four year university program) so that you may begin to fulfill your part in the Body of Christ, as stated in Eph 4:16:

Ephesians 4:15-16
But speaking the truth in love, (we) may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, [even] Christ:
From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

Training Prerequisites

There are several items to be completed before a team embarks on the process of becoming a RTFM ministry team:

• Commitment: It is expected that a team will make a personal commitment to submit to their recognized church oversight (or appropriate spiritual oversight) and to the church ministry policies.
• Reference: A team needs a personal reference from their pastor attesting to their commitment, call, level of maturity and character.
• Supervision: A commitment is needed from the team's pastor (or oversight) to provide supervision, prayer covering, and a place to exercise their ministry, once the initial training is completed.
• Equipping: Some initial equipping is required, either by attending a Restoring the Foundations Healing/Deliverance Seminar and/or by reading and understanding the concepts and principles of RTFM as expressed in the book Restoring the Foundations.
• Receiving RTF Ministry: Every team must receive their own personal ministry from a recognized RTFM team, preferably before starting the training process. It must be completed before the Ministry Training Step (Step III). Each team member should receive at least 15 hours of ministry.

Initial Minister Training

• Restoring the Foundations Activation Seminar (Step I): The first Training Step is accomplished in this seminar.  This seminar prepares a church or cell/small group leader to bring the Integrated Approach to Ministry to bear on one problem in person's life.  It includes at least 18 hours of teaching, demonstration, activation, practice, and impartation covering all of the parts of the RTF ministry process. • Observing (Step II): In the second Training Step, a trainee team desiring to conduct the Thorough format RTF ministry (actively) observes an experienced team conduct the entire ministry process "live" with two ministry receivers (generally a couple). This helps them gain an understanding of how the parts of the integrated ministry fit and flow together. (Generally 40 hours of training, including the preparation and evaluation time.)
  
• Leading (Step III): In the third Training Step, the trainee team is prepared to bring the Thorough format RTF ministry to members of their local church.  They will receives supervised training as they lead the RTF ministry with two ministry receivers (this ideally is a couple). The trainee team experiences the application of the entire RTFM integrated ministry to the people. (Generally 50 hours, including the preparation and evaluation times.).

Advanced Training Seminars and Conferences

• Advanced RTF Conferences: This conference is for a RTFM team that has completed the initial Training Step I.  In other words, they have successfully attended the RTF Activation Seminar.  The Advance Conference provides advanced and ongoing training in specialized areas of RTFM.  The RTFM ministry team is helped to continue to advance in skill, understanding, and anointing. A third purpose is to provide a place for yearly updating and relating with other RTFM ministers, allowing for refreshing and encouraging one another in the Lord.
• Trainer/Teacher Training: For those called to train/teach RTF ministry teams, there are several approaches to be prepared. One approach is for teams to be trained by one of the qualified HHN Trainer teams as part of the ongoing ministry activity. Another approach is to attend a Trainer Seminar. In addition, there are Teacher Seminars to prepare a team to teach the RTFM Healing/Deliverance Seminar and the Activation (Step I) Seminar within the local church. These seminars are by invitation only.

All of this training is designed to promote the multiplication of the availability of RTF ministers within the Body of Christ while preserving the integrity of the God-given revelation of the Integrated Approach to Ministry.

Training Locations

The Restoring the Foundations Healing/Deliverance and Activation Seminars (Step I) are held throughout the United States (and also in other countries) at various churches and ministry organizations, as well as at Christian International Ministries (CI) in Santa Rosa Beach, FL, located in the panhandle region of Florida. The Observing and Ministry Training Steps (Steps II and III) may be accomplished one of several different ways. They can occur in your local/home church, if it is interested in receiving help from the teams of the Healing House Network to establish a RTFM Program. One or more training teams came come to your location for the ministry and training.  Training is also ongoing at various Healing Houses throughout the USA. A team can receive their ministry and the three steps of their initial training in the Healing House.

Training Time

Training time can range from one month at a Healing House to several months within the local church setting, depending on the training model used. To become a mature, seasoned ministry team, however, usually requires another two to three years of training, practice, ministry, gaining experience, attending Advanced Conferences, and most importantly of all, allowing Jesus Christ to continue to reveal Himself in the teams lives as the Mighty Minister.

Initial Training Costs

Training costs can vary greatly, depending on the situation. Within a local church, costs are usually the least, since the church generally covers all, or much, of the expense. Training at seminars and/or at a Healing House may vary from $400 to $1200 per team, depending on a number of factors such as the type of training, number of people being trained, locations, meals, lodging, etc.
